VALUE STATEMENT.

I am a multi-skilled, extremely creative and outside of the box thinker, with many years of experience in the I.T. and Consumer Electronics sector.

For the past 15 years I have worked loyally for one of New Zealand’s largest technology retailers which has seen me grow into the position I have now, being the National Coordinator for Harvey Norman Commercial and Education.

The diversity of my roles within my tenure at Harvey Norman has also granted me the opportunity to understand the complete picture of how a business operates. This experience has in turn resulted in myself establishing a successful and profitable commercial and education business segment within the business of Harvey Norman for which I now manage.

 

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY 

National Coordinator, Harvey Norman NZ Commercial (D.I.C.E)

February 2013 – Present.

The key responsibilities of my role are to increase and support the growth of business within the commercial and education markets that Harvey Norman engages in within the New Zealand market. These responsibilities include leveraging all vendor relationships, new business development, product launches and commercial promotions to meet sales goals. Within the Harvey Norman Commercial team, I have the responsibility of managing four direct reports and two in-direct reports. These reports are responsible for the day to day management and sales growth within our key commercial and education clients

 

Responsibilities.

  • New business development – Commercial/Education.
  • Vendor Management of key supplier partners.
  • Strategic planning and execution.
  • Sales and Pipeline Management.
  • Team Management, and Training.
  • Technical sales support got my team.
  • Presentation delivery to key stakeholders in all business areas.
  • Marketing program development and implementation .
  • Develop and maintain reporting to key CRM Systems. (SQL, Dynamics Excel etc.)

The key responsibilities of my role were to execute key head office strategic initiatives at store level as well as growing the local store that which I was assigned to manage and grow.

  • Stock control and projections.
  • Dealing with and managing customer issues.
  • Manage local vendor relationship.

The key responsibilities of my role were to execute direction from my proprietor in line with head office direction and manage staff’s day to day activities.

 

Responsibilities.

  • Execute local and Head Office sales activities.
  • Schedule staff rostering in line with project sales activities.
  • Dealing with and managing customer issues.
  • Stock control, and mange and run 3montly stock takes.

March 2003 – September 2005.

The key responsibilities of my role were to manage financials, and stock in the local business.

  • Stock control in regards to new, service, and faulty process.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Bi, Adobe Suite, and intermediate in the following languages, HTML, Java, VB, Python, and C#. OSX, Linux, and Windows I have vast array of knowledge in all major OS platform.
